my nails are so britlle that they brittle up to the nail bed (in other words not only the extra or grown out part, but the nail itself no matter how short brittles)
and I know that it's due to my bad nutrition, i know i have to eat better food...
but until then what product sold in CVS can help. I see lots of products from sally hansen but don't know which one to choose! help ! which one have you tried and worked for you? What product preferably from sally hansen fixes my brittle nails?
I have used the conditioning cuticle oil from Sally Hansen. The better shape that your cuticle is in, the healthier your nail growth will be. Sally Hansen also has some hand lotions, but they are much the same as just using a regular hand lotion like Curel. You just have to make sure that you use a hand lotion several times a day to get the moisture to start to soak into your nails as well.

What product do you use to trim your dogs nails?
what do you recomend me to use to trim my dogs nails, one of them has white nails and the other one black, he's the one that worries me the most because i can't see where the quick starts. what product do you use? What product do you use to trim your dogs nails?
For my short haired dog I use a dremel, for my long haired dogs I use regular clippers ( not the guillotine type)What product do you use to trim your dogs nails?
My Jack russell has a black nail on each front paws.
We always clipper too close, but we bought these new clippers, and no more hurting her.
Working in a Vet's office, he uses these clippers on my dogs.
Quick Finder safety nail clipper works on amazing QuickSensor technology that senses your pet's quick and gives you visual cues as to when it is safe and when it is not safe to begin clipping. The trick to nail clipping is to clip the sharp tip off the nail without cutting into the quick. The quick is the part inside the nail where the blood vessels and nerve endings are located. If you clip the quick, the nail will bleed and it will hurt your pet. QuickSensor鈩?lights lets you know when it is safe to clip; red: do not clip, yellow: caution, and green: safe to clip.
A doggy nail trimmer, and a product that I believe is called Kwik-Stop. It's a powder that you press into the nail if you cut it too short and it starts to bleed.
I use doggy nail clippers.
There is something new... I can't remember the name...that basically allows you to file it down.

Can anyone recommend a product that is good for weak, thin finger nails?
I've been wearing fake nails for several years and my real nails are paper thin and weak. I don't have a lot of money to waste on junk that doesn't work. Thanks! Can anyone recommend a product that is good for weak, thin finger nails?
this may sound gross, but the best home remedy is garlic! just get a clove of garlic, pierce your nail through them and rub them across your nail. it strengthens it, i swear!

Is there any product to help make your nails longer?
Ihave been biting my nails since,uh.. probably like kindergarden! :( I am desparately trying to stop and grow them out. By the way, they look AWFUL!Is there any product to help make your nails longer?
I was too until recently a nail biter... and sometimes i still catch my self doing it. But about 3 weeks ago I started using OPI Nail Envy.. my nails were noticably stronger a few days later, and not are getting length to them. It's a little expensive, but well worth it!Is there any product to help make your nails longer?
get some over the counter pre natal vitamins, Its worked great for me! Makes your skin and hair look better too.
Also buy vitamin E gel caps and poke one open and rub a little oil on your nails before bed. Tastes foul and helps them grow longer and stronger.
Also try thum, which is a clear nasty tasting nail polish for nail biters
change your diet, add more protein.....engine oil coupons

Nail Polish- best color / product recommendation?
Can anyone recommend a nail polish that I can use that's going to turn out the same color as this dress when it's dry?
Here's the dress: http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/Products.as鈥?/a>
Sorry the link is so long :b I bought this dress to go to a wedding this Saturday, and I'd like to give myself a manicure/pedicure. I'm looking for a nail polish that once it dries, will be the same color as the dress. In case the link doesn't work, the dress is ROYAL BLUE, and gives off a royal blue metallic look...
If you can recommend a product that you think would look like this, please let me know the brand and where I can buy it?
Thank you!Nail Polish- best color / product recommendation?
i love that dress and the only reason i didnt buy it was because it looked more purple than i wanted but maybe an indigo color cause that would sort of match the dress being both a bit of purple and blue.Nail Polish- best color / product recommendation?
sally hansen and OPI are good brands. and i n=know Ice has a good royal blue, with a metalic shine to it.

What product is good to use after having acrylic nails removed?
My nails are very damaged. Is there anything that anyone could recommend to get my nails healthy looking again. What product is good to use after having acrylic nails removed?
Poor you, you must have gotten them ripped off if they're damaged :(
1. Solar Oil 3 times a day
2. Polish with ';Toughen Up'; Base coat by CND
3. Don't rip them off next time! Go to a properly trained technician and have him/her soak it off in acetone
Hope that helps %26lt;3What product is good to use after having acrylic nails removed?
Burts Bees lemon/lime cuticle oil. It's amazing, and smells really good. Then use a Sally Hansen Nail Repairer polish to top it off.

What product is used in beauty salons to make nails extremely shinny?
Hello, i'm talking about a professional product used, I've heard they mix it up with the nail polish and it makes the nail EXTREMELY glossy. What product is used in beauty salons to make nails extremely shinny?
sally hansen's invisible polish. Just get any invisible shade that's from Sally Hansen.
But the brand that's NOT used in salons that's also really good is Loreal.
But since I live in Richmond (azns unite!!), theres a mall called Aberdeen that has a shop that's japenese owned that sells japenese-made beauty products. All their beauty stuff, such as fake eyelashes and yes, nail polishes rock.
That's just a note saying ';made in japan'; items are also the best. What product is used in beauty salons to make nails extremely shinny?
Sorry I may not be much help but I do know that they used this gel that only gets put on if you get gel nails not acrylic. HTH
I like to have my nails buffed. There is no messy polish to dry and my nails shine beautifully.
There is a procedure they call ';gel'; that they apply, like acrylics and it is very hard and very shinny. After they apply it like polish, you need to place your hands in the little finger oven, not hot, for the gel to seal. It looks good and last a long time. Go check out your local store for pricing. It doesn't come off with nail polish remover tho. It can grow out with your nails or have they file it off if you don't like it.
