My nails are brittle from getting acrylics done at the salon and i was wondering what is a good way to strengthen them so i can grow them out instead of always going to the salon to get them done. Who sells the best stuff for this? What is a good product that can strengthen my nails and make them look healthier?
Sally Hansen has the best like of products when it comes to nail strengthening. Apply one of those, ';Longer, Stronger nails in 5 days'; polishes then Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails over that. What is a good product that can strengthen my nails and make them look healthier?
Your nails are probably just dehydrated try Vaseline intensive care moisturiser for hands.
My mam swears that eating jelly is good for your nails! Just eat chunks of the stuff, it seems to work ?!!
One of the best things that I found was a product I saw on QVC called T.I.P.S. It's a nail/cuticle conditioning formula that aids in the strength and flexibility of nails as well as the healing of the cuticle area (which is vital to healthy nails.) When I first tried it, I noticed that the damaged area of my nail was corrected. I had had acrylics applied when I was 17 for my prom and the nails popped off taking parts of my nail with it. For years my nails grew with deep ridges. That went away completely. Also, I also noticed that my cuticles stopped fraying and the swelling went away. I stopped using the formula and by the next winter season my cuticles had reverted back, but, my nails have not had quite so many challenges. They still don't crack, split, or separate like they did before T.I.P.S.
Also it's not very expensive. I'm going to start back with it next week.
